Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a driven and results-oriented E-commerce Director to join our growing team and lead our online sales strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of our e-commerce operations, from website management and customer experience to driving online sales growth with a focus on merchandising footwear, accessories, and apparel using industry leading technology and a connected marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Oversee all aspects of the e-commerce website, including user experience (UX), merchandising, design, functionality, and content management.
- Implement and manage e-commerce marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, PPC, social media) to drive qualified traffic and conversions, working closely with the marketing team.
- Analyze website traffic data and customer behavior to identify areas for improvement and optimize the online shopping experience.
- Manage and optimize product listings, pricing, promotions, and discounts.
- Work closely with the design, sales, finance, accounting, and executive management teams to ensure seamless integration and support across all departments.
- Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team, providing coaching, mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Stay on the cutting edge of e-commerce trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, especially in merchandising and automation.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role within e-commerce or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies that drive significant sales growth.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, and conversion optimization.
- Experience in managing and optimizing e-commerce websites, including content management systems (CMS) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
