Job Overview:
Answering directly to the Sales Director, this position will work to outfit athletic organizations in practice, competition, and spirit wear apparel from the youth level to Olympic level competitors. To succeed in this position, the candidate must be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. High energy, professionalism, and organization are necessary qualities that the ideal candidate for this role will possess. This sales role primarily focuses on fostering existing business relationships and cultivating new ones. This position offers a competitive base salary as well as commission opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seek out and qualify leads to secure new customers
- Retention of existing customer relationships
- Develop, manage, and expand on existing customer relationships to drive additional business
- Negotiate price, payment terms, discounts, and speed of delivery of products and services
- Produce weekly Lead Report for existing and prospective customers
- Collaborate with design, purchasing, accounting, etc. on behalf of customers
- Available outside of work hours and on weekends for prospective or existing customers, as well as internal communication
Key Qualifications:
- 0 - 2 years of experience in Sales preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, or sales CRM databases
- Ability to quickly adapt to and become proficient in new software systems
- Must be willing and able to be available via phone/email outside of office hours, including weekends
- Must be able to stay organized due to abundant requests from numerous customers
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
