Part-Time Grant Writer (Healthcare)

Position: Part-Time Grant Writer
Location: Remote preferred in Kansas, Missouri or Nebraska
Hours: Flexible/Set Number of Hours Per Week
Compensation: Hourly Rate - $25-$30 per hour

About Us:

Rudzina Health has a mission to help nonprofit, rural, and disadvantaged healthcare, receive funding that is available to further their mission in providing affordable care and health programs to underserved communities. We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to identify, apply for, and manage grants that support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and private donors.
• Write compelling grant proposals, applications, and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with program managers and leadership to align proposals with organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain a grants calendar to track application deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with grant guidelines and reporting obligations.
• Maintain records of past and current grant applications, awards, and outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Strong research and analytical skills to identify relevant funding sources.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of healthcare policies, programs, and funding landscapes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience with nonprofit organizations, healthcare institutions, or government grants.
• Previous educator experience such as teacher
• Familiarity with grant databases and submission platforms.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
