We are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced, and passionate Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! If you have strong customer service skills, administrative expertise, and a love for animals, we’d love to hear from you.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent customer service skills – warm, friendly, and professional in all interactions.
- Strong administrative skills – computer savvy, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Effective communication – clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask – handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic dog and cat handling skills – comfortable assisting with pet care as needed.
- Social media management experience is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet pet parents warmly and provide excellent service.
- Check pets in and out for grooming and self-wash services.
- Answer phone calls, respond to messages, and schedule appointments via phone, text, and our grooming software.
- Ensure all client and pet information is up to date, including signed forms, waivers, and vaccination records.
- Process payments through our POS system, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate invoices and revenue reports.
- Conduct closing procedures, including balancing the cash drawer and finalizing daily reports.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby at all times.
- Keep the Self-Wash area stocked, sanitized, and ready for the next customer.
- Assist groomers and bathers with pet handling and comfort when needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Follows established protocols and procedures.
- Professional in appearance and demeanor.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all ages and breeds.
- Physical capability to lift up to pets 50 lbs. and perform activities such as stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, and standing throughout the workday.
- Proficient in computer systems and scheduling software.
