Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting projects, with a strong understanding of color theory and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush/roller methods.
- Renovate and maintain existing structures through painting and finishing work.
- Collaborate with carpenters on trim carpentry projects to ensure seamless integration of painted surfaces.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting and shaping materials as needed.
- Work on construction sites, following all safety protocols while maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assist in building frameworks or structures that require painting or finishing touches.
- Demonstrate knowledge of stucco application when required for specific projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in painting roles, particularly in construction settings.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in various projects.
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience with trim carpentry is a plus, enhancing the quality of finished work.

Pay: $18.72 - $25.00 per hour
