What We're Looking For :
RuffleButts is looking for a Sr Data Analyst who is responsible for analysis, reporting, and documentation across all facets of the business including customer, marketing, ecommerce, merchandising, operations, Amazon and B2B that lead to business actions that drive company results. The Sr Data Analyst will manage EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), operationalize and democratize data / reporting across the organization, deliver insights and actions to the respective business owners, and build predictive models using machine learning techniques. Key competencies of the Sr Data Analyst include being a team player that is passionate about results, has an overwhelming amount of curiosity, and can work cross functionally to deliver valuable insights. This person will be tasked with building and managing a portfolio of reporting and dashboards that shape the way the organization manages, visualizes, and derives insights around digital engagements. The Data Analyst will report directly to the CFO and will have organization support and impact.
To Summarize, You Will :
- Analyze transactional and behavioral data to report and provide actionable insights that drive revenue for the business.
- Manage existing and create new data flows associated with the EDW
- Create and maintain reporting in Tableau required by cross functional business owners inclusive of Marketing, Ecommerce, Wholesale, Amazon, Merchandising and Operation teams to create marketing and customer efficiencies
- Remain up to date with current market trends to be able to communicate with cross-functional teams and give relevant insights
- Operationalize and democratize data to all aspects of the business, documenting all transformations and data elements, and train internal team members accordingly
- Standardize reporting views across all business owners via Tableau
- Partner with Marketing leadership to provide detailed insights and recommended optimizations based on performance data.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to optimize the customer experience
- Provide detailed analysis supporting segmentation and funnel optimization
- Manage the collection of behavioral data via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Communicate insights and actions across all levels of the organization through presentations and ongoing written documentation
- Partner closely with Financial Planning and Analysis team to connect customer and behavioral insights and data to company results and forecasting
- Preferably, this candidate can learn and oversee data architecture and optimize data storage solutions and workflows to improve access by business owners and scale the organization for future growth.
