Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 27 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. In Lebanon, we do business as Warren Bros Sash & Door, and we are hiring for a Production Lead in our Door Shop.
Position Summary: The Production Lead collaborates with the Operations Manager and leads production workers in the Door Shop. Primary responsibilities include milling and producing interior or exterior doors, replenishing products, creating special orders, and setting production schedules. This position is broad based and will include a variety of assignments to ensure that mill orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion. Shift times are Monday through Friday, 6 am to 3:30 pm, with some Saturday work and occasional overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Leads a Door Shop of 5-6 production workers in the production of interior or exterior doors.
- Excellent skills and ability in researching and filling special orders
- Organized individual who will be able to set and maintain a flexible production schedule to meet customer expectations
- Passionate candidate to track mill production to increase production
- Directing inquiries from other departments to the appropriate employees
- Focused individual who will monitor high profile sales orders to ensure on-time delivery and maintains accurate records on current and prior orders
- Monitoring and communicating performance related to production and inventory metrics
- Process Improvement: re-engineer existing product management processes to increase efficiency and overall product profitability, as well as improve customer experience.

- Successful at building relationships
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) including the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to successfully lead departmental initiatives.

- Superb attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised
- Purchasing and inventory management experience
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift and carry products from 5-20 lbs. weight to demonstrate features and functions to the customer.
- The functions of this position are performed in a production warehouse, consistently exposed to modest amounts of heat, dust, fumes and noise.
This is a safety sensitive position, subject to routine drug screening.
