Job overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who wants to grow, learn, and is looking for something long term. Right now we are currently seeking an Experienced Accounting Manager. We are looking for someone who can manage all day to day accounting functions in our office. This will include many tasks such as invoicing credit card and net accounts on a daily basis, sending monthly statements, pull freight charges for invoices, assisting with Return Authorizations and credits, follow up on past due accounts that owe us money, depositing daily checks, wires, and Credit card charges into our bank, etc. We will train you how to use our ERP system and all accounting functions you will be responsible for. Accounting knowledge and experience is preferred as you will be speaking to high level clients on a daily basis about their accounts. If you are eager to learn, you will succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers on a daily basis via email/phone
  • Invoicing all net and credit card accounts on a daily basis in our ERP system
  • Email invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Post all credit card charges, wires, and checks in our system on a daily basis
  • Assist with Return authorizations and credits
  • Answer all accounting inquires that get sent to the office.
  • Dispute freight charges with UPS and or our vendors
  • Assist with debt collection and sending accounts to collections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space and be on time to the office Monday - Friday 10-6.
  • Additional office responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills
  • Ability to construct professional and detailed emails.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and alone
  • Industry knowledge preferred but not necessary
  • 2 plus years of accounting experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
