Job Description
Rugged's Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing quality system development and deployment. Establishes advance qualty planning and quality gates for new prodcut launch, control plans for existing prodcuts & processes, and clear standards to ensure consistent customer quality satisfaction.
The quality manager will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards are in place and being followed. This position will directly lead quality engineering and technician team members.

Responsibilities
- Promote a 'Customer First' mindset throughtout the organization, including internal customers.
- Develop and implement a comprehensize QMS to allow for data-driven decision making.
- Report monthly on all Quality KPIs, performance of the quality management system, and opportunites for improvement.
- Continuosly improve Quality Policy, procedures, work instruction, & forms.
- Facilitat a Change Management System that ensures the integrity of the quality management system and final product quality is always maintained.
- Develop, monitor, and provide final disposition for all discrepant material reports and product.
- Demonstrate self-initaitive and calls to action.
- Create and manage departmental budget.
- Hold emploeyes accountalbe to establshed goals and business plan objectives.
- Ensure strict adherence to all complinace controls and policies.
- Prepare, coordinate and support regular internal Audits .
- Act as the primary liaison to vendors for supplier quality concerns and resolution.
- Co-leasd supplier quality aqudits with Supply Chain participants.
- Communicate professionally and effectively to all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to ITAR regulations
- Must be abel to work in a manufacturing environment, including workin gin and around moving parts, chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.
- 10 year minimum work experience in various quality disciplines- quality engineering, supplier quality assurance, advanced quality planning, etc.
- 5 year minimum work experience in manufacturing quality management role supporting machining and assembly processes
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and GD&T callouts
- Ability to mentor and develop quality deparment personnel
- Excelleng math skills related to general mathematics and statistical process control
- Experienced with computers and various database platforms
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Work independently and proactively
- Bachelor's degree or equivelant experience from employment or military background
- Other continuing educiton in quality/manufacturing disciplines preferred

Salaried exempt position, including healh, vision, dental, & disbility insurance, PTO and 401K benefits

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
