As a Spare Parts Manager for Ruhrpumpen, you will be responsible for the general operation of the Parts business in the US, assuring quality, profitability, on time quoting and delivery and general customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Spare Parts organization in Tulsa, defining individual and team goals, providing constant mentoring, training and guidelines.
- Maintaining regular communication and meetings with Original Equipment and Aftermarket End User Sales Engineers to review open quotes.
- Work with Aftersales Sales Engineers on top accounts to proactively identify potential parts requirements and follow up on different parts growth initiatives.
- Monitor bookings and invoicing of parts in the US.
- Perform month sales forecasting.
- Assure effective and on time delivery of orders, monitor shipments, solve bottle necks by prioritizing and aligning team efforts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to spare parts management, delivery timeliness, bookings, invoicing, customer satisfaction, and pricing performance. Generate monthly and quarterly reports and communicate insights to management.
- Responsible for defining and following up on parts pricing and performing exit margin analysis
- Direct communication with end users when required to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in spare parts management, inventory control, pricing strategies, and delivery efficiency
- Implement strategies to optimize processes, reduce lead times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar
- 7 years of experience in Sales or Commercial Administrative roles.
- 5 years of experience in Customer focused leadership roles.
- 5 years of experience leading white-collar teams.
- Experience developing and implementing pricing strategies.
- Pump or other rotating equipment aftermarket experience is desired.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership, conflict resolution and decision-making skills
