What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inbound Sales Representative (Remote) position at RUI?

Work-at-home Inbound Sales Reps at RUI are responsible for assisting existing and new customers with sales opportunities regarding their Internet services (including phone, and cable). Armed with superior product knowledge and a passion for customer satisfaction, you will provide solutions to customer needs in a fast-paced and energetic environment. Our goal is to provide great customer service, and exceed expectations, and to do that, we need the very best people to join us.

Work-at-home Requirements

  • Must have open availability during these times - Monday - Friday (1pm - 11pm EST) & Saturday and Sunday (8am - 10pm EST), you will have two days off
  • Quiet workspace free of background noise and distractions
  • Private area acceptable for webcam use
  • Internet Connection
  • Download Speed 100 Mbps and 25 Mbps upload speed (minimum)
  • Make sure to test your speed at speedtest.net
  • Must have a cell phone and headset
  • Laptop will be provided

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers, and forge relationships with new customers.
  • Must be comfortable taking inbound calls to upgrade, offer promotions, retain customers, or regaining customers.
  • Deliver prepared sales pitch, reading from scripts that describe products or services, to influence potential customers to purchase a product or service
  • Listen to customer concerns with the goal of identifying the causes of the problem
  • Solve customer challenges and regain customer confidence by using empathy, and building rapport with customers
  • General knowledge of company, products, and/or services
  • Obtain customer information and enter data into various CRM systems
  • Adhere to QA requirements and utilize a call flow
  • Comply with federal and state regulations, as well as company and client policy, with regards to the handling of consumer confidential information

Characteristics of an ideal candidate:

  • Sales and customer service experience (call center, retail, door-to-door)
  • Persuasive, not aggressive
  • Proficient with technology applications; email, internet browsers, search engines and data management systems
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team (promote positive work environment)
  • Excellent communication skills (professional demeanor); written & verbal
  • Proficient in multi-tasking
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, empathy, responsiveness, and patience
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment in which change, and ambiguity are prevalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
