What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retention Specialist (NC) position at RUI?
Work-at-home Retention Specialists at RUI are responsible for retaining our core customer base. You will work directly with our customers to determine how we can improve our products and services and how to retain their business.
Armed with superior product knowledge and a passion for customer satisfaction, you will provide solutions to customer needs in a high-volume, fast-paced, and energetic environment. Our goal is to provide great customer service, and improve sales by creating lasting bonds with customers, and to do that, we need the very best people to join us.
Hour of operations- Monday through Friday 8am to 10pm EST (Sat/Sun off)
Work-at-home Requirements
- Quiet workspace free of background noise and distractions
- Private area acceptable for webcam use
- Internet Connection, Internet must be hardwired
- Download Speed 100 Mbps and 25 Mbps upload speed (minimum)
- Make sure to test your speed at speedtest.net
- Cell phone
- We will provide laptop
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Must be comfortable receiving high-volume inbound calls and making outbound calls to upgrade, offer promotions, and retain/regain customers
- Create lasting relationships with customers
- Deliver prepared sales pitch, reading from scripts that describe products or services, to influence customers to retain our products or services
- Listen to customer concerns with the goal of identifying the causes of the problem
- Solve customer challenges and regain customer confidence by using empathy, and building rapport with customers
- General knowledge of company, products, and/or services
- Obtain customer information and enter data into various CRM systems
- Adhere to QA requirements and utilize a call flow
- Comply with federal and state regulations, as well as company and client policy, with regards to the handling of consumer confidential information
Characteristics of an ideal candidate:
- Retention, customer service and sales experience (call center, retail, door-to-door)
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Empathy and patience
- Proficient with technology applications; email, internet browsers, search engines and data management systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team (promote positive work environment)
- Excellent communication skills (professional demeanor); written & verbal
- Proficient in multi-tasking
- Ability to build rapport with customers, empathy, responsiveness, and patience
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment in which change, and ambiguity are prevalent
