What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift Packaging Feeder position at Ruiz Food Product, Inc.?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be consistent in meeting the quality levels set by RFP.
- Must understand and follow safety, USDA, quality control, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Work well in a team.
- Be able to meet standard for packing product.
- Know the different specification for each product and be able to determine out of spec.
- Inspect seals before packing, ensure the packed product coincides with outer cases, and become familiar with schedule and Julian dates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- No formal education required
- Must be able to read product codes, julian dates, and safety signs.
- Must be able to count to 100 to complete product counts of product.
- Must have good oral communication.
- Must be able to follow sanitation procedures.
- Must be coordinated and able to follow directions.
- Good attendance record required.
SALARY: ENTRY LEVEL 1
QUALIFIED LEVEL 2 (NON-EXEMPT)
