The Associate Director of Procure to Pay will oversee all key financial and control elements of procurement and payment cycle for the company. This role involves developing strategies to optimize procurement operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies. The associate director will lead the accounts payable team and will be responsible for driving cost savings, improving efficiency, and the enhancement of transaction accuracy. Cross-departmental collaboration is essential to align procurement goals with overall company objectives.
COMPENSATION: $170K - $185K / YEAR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and provide process management for the entire procure-to-pay cycle.
- Continually define, implement, and improve the P2P strategy to further optimize processes and efficiencies.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Lead and mentor the procurement/accounts payable team foster growth, performance, and departmental achievement.
- Ensure compliance with both company policy and regulations.
- Oversee the optimization of procurement systems to drive efficiency.
- Work cross-departmentally to align procurement strategies with company objectives.
- Generate reporting on procurement performance metrics to provide visibility to key stakeholders and assist with identifying performance gaps.
- Develop/enhance departmental and organizational training in regarding the P2P process.
- Access and mitigate financial risk related to procurement and vendor contracts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Experience: Significant experience in finance, accounts payable, and procurement with a minimum of 8-10 years; with at least 4-years in a manufacturing environment. At least 4-5 years in a managerial or leadership role is required.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, data analysis tools, and all MS office applications.
- Management Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee initiatives and process improvements.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Salary : $170,000 - $185,000
