What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Inventory Clerk position at Ruiz Food Product, Inc.?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive MRO repair parts and general supplies into MP2 CMMS system and create receiving documents.
- Unload MRO repair parts and general supplies from delivery vehicles. Must be able to safely and effectively operate a fork lift.
- Prepare outbound materials for shipping including loading pallets and crates and strapping materials for shipment.
- Check out/check in maintenance tools and radios.
- Check out repair parts and general supplies from the MP2 CMMS system as needed by the maintenance mechanics and electricians.
- Perform inventory cycle count using hand-held scanners and download to MP2 CMMS.
- Transfer repair parts and general supplies between Dinuba and Tulare plants using company truck.
- Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position
- Maintain knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, USDA, QA, HACCP, and sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies
SKILLS:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
