What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processing Cook position at Ruiz Food Product, Inc.?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify 95% yields and P.C.
- Operate load cells, Genis System, water meter, oil meter, air mixer, agitator, cooker, and cherry barrel.
- Operate within compliance of USDA and TQA program standards.
- Ensure that recipe book cooking procedures are being followed.
- Maintain work area clean and organized at all times.
- Work under a team concept.
- Treat all employees fair with respect and dignity.
- Attend all training and scheduled meetings.
- Follow company policy, rules, and regulations.
- Use a rod height.
- Read and understand the concept of the production schedule.
SKILLS:
- Must have basic math skills and be able to pass a math exam with a minimum score of at least 70%.
- Good attendance record.
- Must be able to read and write Spanish or English.
- Able to perform under extreme temperatures.
- Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack to move materials.
