SSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, Ammonia & Freon refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair boilers, compressors & waste water treatment systems.
• Diagnoses problems and effects repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance and inspects equipment for potential problems.
• Makes recommendations for modification of equipment.
• Orders parts, chemical and materials for refrigeration/heating and air-conditioning equipment
and maintains documentation and schematics of all systems.
• Responsible for daily startup of system, observe operations, read and record gauges and
instruments.
• Adjust mechanisms such as valves, controls and pumps to control the level of fluid, pressure
and temperature in the system.
• Installs wiring to connect components to electric power source.
• Maintains knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, PSM, RETA, USDA,
QA, HACCP and Sanitation rules and regulation, and company policies.
• Regular and dependable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
• All other duties, as assigned.
