- Champion and influence profitable growth by serving as a trusted business partner to the Sales and Marketing teams
- Provide insights and analysis to drive key elements of the commercial agenda
- Manage an array of strategic projects, identify root causes and partner with Sales and Marketing on P&L management, variance analyses, trade efficiency, forecasting, budgeting, etc.
- Serve as primary representative of the Commercial Finance point of view to the Sales and Marketing teams
COMPENSATION: $75 - $105k/Year DOE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop pricing and profitability analytics from gross sales through contribution margin
- Support trade promotion management and shopper marketing performance, administration, and reporting
- Manage and communicate findings from standard monthly reports and build new reporting capabilities to drive sales growth and profitability
- Build and present reporting “package” of period and YTD results in collaboration with others as well as contributing to the month end Flash call
- Support the monthly sales/product forecast process with Demand Planning and Sales
- Partner with Sales and Finance leadership in building the company’s annual business plan
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide a robust view of retailer sales data (shelf facings, velocities, ACV, etc.) within forecasting and customer reviews
- Support the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance on other projects and analyses as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, etc
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A/Corporate Finance, ideally with some involvement in the Commercial aspects of a business
- Strong relationship building expertise and ability to become a true partner with Salespeople and marketers
- Comfort analyzing P&Ls, budgeting/forecasting, and communicating findings
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Moderate Excel/PowerPoint skills, BI experience a plus
- Food and Beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) background preferred
Salary : $75,000 - $105,000
