Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and motivated Media Intern to join our team and support content creation, social media strategy, and digital marketing efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in media production, branding, and artist promotion within the music and entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in content creation (graphics, videos, social media posts) for Rukus Avenue’s digital platforms.
• Support social media management, including scheduling posts, engaging with audiences, and tracking performance.
• Help develop and execute marketing campaigns for music releases, artist promotions, and radio content.
• Assist with video editing and podcast production for Rukus Avenue Radio.
• Conduct research on industry trends, audience engagement strategies, and emerging digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new content ideas and media strategies.
• Assist in organizing and archiving media assets (photos, videos, audio files).
• Provide support for live events, artist interviews, and promotional activities as needed.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Film, or a related field.
• Passion for music, digital content, and storytelling, with a strong interest in South Asian entertainment.
• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook) and content scheduling tools.
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or Canva.
• Strong writing skills for social media captions, blog posts, and promotional content.
• Knowledge of video editing and graphic design is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bonus: Experience in audio editing, music marketing, or podcast production.
