What you will do:
Rumble is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant who can quickly contribute to the Accounting and Finance team. Reporting into the Controller’s Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely financial reporting. Although not a startup by definition - as proven by our 8 years of consistent and impressive growth - we operate as a lean and agile company whereby all members of the team “roll up our sleeves” and contribute across various capacities in order to drive success. We expect our Senior Corporate Accountant to exhibit the same hands-on approach, passion for our mission and innate ability to get things done. In this key roll you will:
- Support the monthly close and consolidation process including preparing journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and ensuring the consolidated financial statements are properly prepared
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year end financial statements
- Support the year end audit process and deliverables
- Perform technical accounting research, prepare position papers for new and complex transactions
- Investigate and correct discrepancies/irregularities in financial entries, documents and reports
- Ensure that all entities are in compliance with regulatory and in-house standards and best practices
- Identifying and implementing process improvements including documentation of controls
- Responsible for maintaining accurate financials including revenue recognition & FP&A while remaining aware accounting guidelines.
- Maintain fixed asset and prepaid schedules as well as record monthly depreciation
- Assist with financial statement variance analysis and presentation on a monthly basis
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Work along side the Controller to plan and organize the operations of the growing accounting and finance department
- Responsible for preparing business reports to assist with enabling decision makers in making well-informed business decisions.

Requirements:
- Working towards or completed accounting designation (CPA)
- 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online considered an asset
- Working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
- Technical competence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Highly motivated and detail oriented
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Experience working with media and/or technology infrastructure companies a bonus
In-office: Sarasota, FL with hybrid schedule
Annual Compensation Range:
- $84,000-$100,000 USD base benefits equity
