What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursery and Garden Center Associate position at Rumery Lawn and Landscape LLC?
Rumery Lawn and Landscape LLC is a landscaping company in Seward, and we are looking for a sales and customer service representative to help in our retail Garden and Nursery Center in Seward.
We are looking for an individual with lawn and garden knowledge that can continue to help us grow. This person will help with our nursery and greenhouse daily functions. This position would entail watering and caring for plant inventory, helping customers, answering phones, taking messages, retail, some basic office duties and more.
An applicant should be able to stay organized, communicate, have time management skills, and have excellent customer service skills, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
We are open Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. We ask that you work one or two Saturdays per month during the season.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience
- Proficiency in retail sales and cash handling, including experience with POS systems
- Excellent communication skills and time management abilities
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance is a plus
- Ability to organize and merchandise products effectively
- Experience in stocking and maintaining inventory in a retail environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
