HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC
Rummel Construction, Inc. is seeking Heavy Equipment We own and operate one of the largest fleets of yellow iron in the state and we've got the work to keep you busy. If you have the passion to work on scrapers, dozers, motor graders and excavators, and want to keep working on them, this is the spot for you.
REQUIRED SKILLS (SAFTEY SENSITIVE POSITION)
- Lift / load / unload and carry up to 50 lbs
- The ability to walk, sit, squat, get in / out of equipment safely, stand, and bend for long periods of time
- Practice the safe use of hand tools, power tools, drill presses, grinding machines, welding and flame-cutting equipment, jacks and hoists to lift and move large parts
- Complete Pre and Post-Trip Inspections, maintain electronic driver logs, and ensure DOT compliance
