RK&K's Construction Engineering Inspection and Construction Management Division is hiring Senior Construction Inspector to join our team in central Tennessee. As a Senior Construction Inspector with RK&K you will strengthen our Construction Engineering and Inspection team while leading complex and routine inspections on projects including highway, bridge, design / design-build projects. Essential Function
- Provide construction management support, including inspection, testing, and monitoring of construction ensure compliance with contract documents
- Fully engage in solving complex problems to provide technical evaluation and sound solutions
- Manage and mentor the activities of other inspectors
- Ability to communicate effectively across different platforms with project management, clients, stakeholders, and contractors
- Interface with clients, state and federal agencies, and other engineering disciplines on construction projects
- Recordkeeping, materials testing, and reporting as required
- Must possess high integrity and ethics in all aspects of dealing with clients, subconsultants, and peers
