Job Overview
Rumpke Waste and Recycling is committed to providing exceptional waste management services to our customers. As a CDL Utility Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste and recycling materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various types of trucks in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
- Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers by emptying containers into trucks and hauling to disposal sites or recycling plants.
- Pick up missed stops and routes as needed, and deliver trash or recycling containers as required.
- Clean up waste spills and overflows, and maintain truck cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate route and driver logs, and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
Requirements
- A valid Class B CDL, with a valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years, and no DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years.
- Ability to read and speak English fluently, and excellent driving skills.
