Commercial Waste Collection Driver
We are seeking a qualified Commercial Waste Collection Driver to join our team at Rumpke. This role involves operating a CDL truck to collect and haul waste or recycling materials from commercial customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely and reliable waste removal services.
- Maintain and update route sheets, daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and complete DVIR logs.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies while operating trucks.
- Visually inspect front load containers to ensure safe dumping procedures and maintain cleanliness of truck cab.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card or obtain prior to hire.
- Ability to read and understand a map and physical ability to perform prolonged physical exertions.
- Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills and general knowledge of mechanics.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external customers.
