RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to join for an approximate 9-month project!
While this is a remote position, you must reside in one of the following states: Washington, Oregon, California, Florida, Colorado, Michigan, Texas, or New York to be considered. You must be able to work East Coast hours.
We’re looking for a seasoned Motion Graphics Designer to support fast-moving, high-visibility marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong eye for design, and brings motion to life through compelling digital experiences. The ideal candidate is not only fluent in motion design tools but also has a solid foundation in visual design and campaign execution. You have proven experience designing for high-volume, seasonal, and product-focused campaigns and are skilled at creating visually impactful assets.
As a Motion Graphics Designer, You Will
- Design and animate engaging, web-ready graphics for digital marketing campaigns.
- Create compelling visual stories using product imagery, brand assets, and animation techniques to enhance customer engagement.
- Provide creative direction and visual solutions that make digital ads more dynamic and exciting.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet campaign goals, timelines, and brand standards.
- Develop clean, consistent design templates and ensure creative alignment across touchpoints. Optimize assets for web performance and production efficiency.
As an Applicant, You Bring
- 4 years of experience in digital and motion design, ideally within a fast-paced production or e-commerce environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in campaign design, animation, and art direction.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and web optimization is a plus.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working on high-volume, seasonal, or product-focused campaigns.
- Illustration or photo comping skills. Retail or e-commerce design background.

Compensation
Pay Range: $55-$60 (Hourly)
The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
Benefits:
Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
