Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resources processes at Runbeck. This role coordinates the recruiting process, department schedules, events calendar, and in the absence of an Administrative Assistant will also perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office.
Essential Job Functions (include but are not limited to):
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and needs of the organization
- Creates job postings and determines advertisement strategy
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
- Assists with handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
- Understands areas for compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
- Assists with the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Assists in review of payroll processes
- Proofreads and types documents and correspondence produced by department
- Assists with the processing of required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters
- Assists with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Follows all company policies and procedures
- Complete and demonstrate a full understanding of ongoing training concepts and applications.
