Position Summary / Essence of the Role:
The essence of the Project Engineer role is to implement new or complex technology that has a positive and strategic impact on customer’s businesses. This is achieved by effective planning, and efficiently executing project plans with precision. To achieve excellence in this role, the Project Engineer will need to be passionate about the use of technology to drive business forward. Education:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, Field of Study: IT or related technical field
Experience:
- 5 years previous experience in a technical role
- Previous experience implementing new / complex technology
Certifications & Licenses:
- Technical Certifications Preferred ( Microsoft, SonicWALL, Dell)
Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of the following:
- Microsoft Stack (Windows Server, Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD)
- Network services (DHCP, DNS, Routing)
- Firewalls (SonicWall and Unifi)
- Switches, Routers, and Wireless Access Points / Controllers
- Application / Database Implementation and Migration
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to read, comprehend, type and speak English clearly on the phone
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to type 50 words per minute
- Some lifting of PC and server equipment
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
