What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer position at Runergy Alabama Inc?
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and support sourcing strategies, lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; support the decision-making process of the category roadmap
- with leadership.
- Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Solicit, expedite, and evaluate supplier quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers for raw materials and machined components.
- Prepare all aspects of simple bids, RFQ's, and proposals, including precise specifications, supporting spreadsheets, comparisons, recommendations, and
- justifications.
- Effectively manage the purchase order process. Review all relevant material requirements,
- Create and execute PO, order management, and make sure the order delivery in line with our required ETA.

Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree minimum
- Proficient with Excel skillset, including VLOOKUP and Pivot table, data visualization, etc.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
