Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Supervisor to oversee financial management, reporting, budgeting, and tax operations. This role requires strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of financial regulations (including US GAAP), and expertise in tax laws. The Finance Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance, optimizing resources, and maintaining the company’s financial integrity while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to US GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring financial statements are in compliance with applicable standards.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and work on optimizing financial resources to achieve budget goals and improve profitability.
- Risk Management: Collaborate closely with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure financial integrity and mitigate potential risks. Ensure the company complies with all necessary financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Tax Operations Management: Supervise the day-to-day operations of tax functions, including tax return preparation, filing, and payments for all applicable tax jurisdictions.
- Tax Compliance: Stay current on tax law changes, regulations, and policies, implementing necessary adjustments to internal tax procedures and ensuring compliance across the organization.
- External Collaboration: Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, and government tax authorities as required to ensure timely compliance and accuracy in filings.
- Tax Strategy Development: Review and validate tax calculations, provisions, and reconciliations. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance or accounting roles, with a strong preference for candidates with tax experience.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Chinese and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
