What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchase Specialist position at Runergy Solar?
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and support sourcing strategies, lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; support the decision-making process of the category roadmap with leadership.
- Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories; anticipate strategic opportunities and keep key stakeholders informed.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Solicit, expedite, and evaluate supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers for raw materials and machined components.
- Prepare all aspects of simple bids, RFQ's and proposals, including precise specifications, supporting spreadsheets, comparisons, recommendations, and justifications.
- Effectively manage purchase order process. Review all relevant material requirements.
- Create and execute PO, order management, and make sure the order delivery in line with our required ETA.
- Inventory Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Supply Chain/Engineering/Business (Master’s preferred)
- 0-3 years experience in manufacturing procurement
- Bilingual proficiency (Chinese & English)
Salary : $50,000 - $70,000
