Runk and Pratt Senior Living is looking for dedicated and caring staff for our seniors living in our Memory Care community.
Immediate hiring for all shifts!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs cleaning and janitorial duties such as: Vacuuming, Deep Cleaning, Light Cleaning, Mopping, Dusting, Cleaning Windows
- Performs cleaning in all common areas and resident rooms being keenly aware of all residents’ rights and privacy. All residents’ personal items are to be cleaned, straightened or fixed if necessary but MUST not be removed from room
- Assists in control of sanitation
- Demonstrates proper safety while chemicals and other harmful items are in the presences of residents and/or guests and ensures that Housekeeping carts are locked in a secure area when not within view
- Ensures that all chemicals used are properly labeled
- At least every other weekend & holiday hours required
- Must be able to perform duties in accordance with the guidelines mandated by Social Services as the licensing agent of this facility
- Laundry (wash, dry, hang and put clothes away in proper places)
- Provides support in any area that may arise that is above and beyond the normal expectations for this position
- Performs daily tasks as set forth by the Administrator or Designee and/or Housekeeping Supervisor and cooperates fully with all staff in the best interests of the residents and act as a team member in all areas
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
- Able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of 50 lbs. without limitations using proper body mechanics
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch
- Able to tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals and work in confined areas
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from high school or GED
- State Police background check that is free from barrier offenses
- A current Tuberculosis test on or within 7 days prior to the first day of employment and free from Tuberculosis
- The ability to meet Physical Requirements for Position

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overnight shift
- Weekends as needed
