SUPERVISOR: Table Games Supervisor                 DEPARTMENT:  Table Games Operations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  None         

 

 

SUMMARY:

Responsible for dealing in a professional and proficient manner all Table Games within approved guidelines, applicable laws, policies and procedures while providing Outstanding Guest Service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Adhere to and ensure compliance with all RCC policies, procedures, SOPs, and internal controls and gaming regulations.
  2. Maintain and ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations, policies and procedures within assigned games.
  3. Protect and maintain integrity of assigned games and assets.
  4. Exchange currency for gaming chips; fills and credits; and, pay or collect bets according to house rules.
  5. Ensure accuracy and completion of all signatory paperwork specific to assigned games and, if applicable, assigned bank.
  6. Effectively communicate with supervisors and obtain required approvals and acknowledgements according to established policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain excellent grooming and personal conduct according to RCC standards.
  8. Acknowledge, greet, and converse (in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner) with customers who play at or approach assigned games.
  9. Interact with department and RCC employees in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two-way and cross-culture communications.
  10. Sustain a courteous attitude and pleasant demeanor in all relations including guests and colleagues
  11. Abide by all company policies of RCC.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to communicate using written, oral and computer methods. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods in excess of 8 hours. Must be to sit for long periods of time. Must have manual dexterity and ability to use repetitive wrist motions.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. High volume direct public contact.

Qualifications


 

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 21 years of age
  • 1 year previous dealing experience or completion of dealing course
  • Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations

 

Skills

Required:

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, ability to demonstrate proficiency)

Required:

  • Ability to maintain high confidentiality
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to deal all table games offered
