The Casino Host/Hostess is responsible for creating and developing one on one relationships with our high value guests to strengthen guest loyalty, increase guest satisfaction with their casino experience and develop guests into profitable customers. The Casino Host must be able to work closely with personnel from all departments, assist in developing marketing strategies, track assigned players and prepare reports on volume of play, win/loss, time played, average bet, comp amounts etc…, host and/or attend on/off site events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be able to work all shifts, all days, 365 days a year according to business needs
- Determine Guest worthiness when awarding Guest comps
- Occasionally dine with Guest
- Host off property events
- Represent the Casino at company sponsored and non-company sponsored events
- Be available to Guests needs at all times, including carrying a cell phone to receive calls from Guests
- Be available for offsite events
- Know and be able to convey all ongoing promotions and events
- Access Guest personal and play information
- Create monthly reports on Guests visits and play
- Develop knowledge of Guests personal preferences and patterns
- Dress in an appropriate business/casual fashion
- Always remember that you represent Running Creek Casino and will act accordingly both on and off property.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
In performance of the duties of this position, Team Member will be required to be on their feet for extended periods both standing and walking. Team member will be working in areas where cigarette smoking is permitted, and alcohol is served. Some light lifting may be required.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Office, gaming floor and off-site events may include loud noises and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. . Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. High volume direct public interaction.

Conditions of employment with the Casino include passing a pre-employment drug test, a background investigation to secure a gaming license and successfully completing a four-month introductory period. Candidates for this position will be required to have dependable transportation available to them. Must also maintain a valid Driver’s License and be insurable on our company’s policy throughout your time of employment with the Casino.
