SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting with long and short term marketing strategies based upon experience, knowledge, and input from the Marketing Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with the organization’s marketing, advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic and direct mail outlets.
- Assists with the direction and works with outside advertising agencies.
- Assists with writers and artists, copywriting, design, layout, paste-up and production of production materials.
- Supervises and monitors the performance of Player’s Club Team Members.
- Develops and maintains a team work environment.
- Monitors staff performance to ensure Running Creek Casino customer service standards are achieved.
- Handles all personnel issues in an appropriate and timely manner according to Running Creek Casino policies and procedures.
- Assists with Running Creek Casino corporate communications programs designed to provide employees with information to keep them well-informed about current promotions and events, and to promote interest in the company and assist in maintaining high levels of morale.
- And all other job duties as assigned by Director of Marketing.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to keep aware of the constant changes and enhancements of the Running Creek Promotions and their benefits. Must be able to communicate using written, oral and computer methods. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands if needed. Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a desk. Must be able to operate computer equipment for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit, walk and/or stand for long periods. Must be able to perform repetitive wrist motions. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds. Must be able to push, pull and graspobjects. Must have manual dexterity to be able to operate the following equipment: computer, telephone, photo copy machine, fax machine, embosser and printer. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Office and Gaming environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises, and smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing
to work any hours or shifts, as needed or required to meet business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. Must preserve the positive working relationship the Tribe has established with the County and community.

All Casino team members are responsible to ensure that their designated operations are in compliance with Casino policies, IGRA, Tribal policies, State compact and Tribal gaming regulations.
Conditions of employment with Casino include passing a pre-employment drug test, a background investigation to secure a gaming license and successfully completing a three-month introductory period.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D) and two (2) years casino marketing experience.
Required:
- At least 21 years of age
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including Holidays and weekends.
- Must possess and maintain a valid California class C driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
- Minimum of two (2) years in casino marketing
- Knowledge of MS Office including experience with Excel, Access, Publisher and Power Point
- Experience scheduling, developing and supervising employees to performance expectations
Preferred:
- Experience with tour, bus programs.
