The Cashier Role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer-Focused Cashier to provide excellent service to our retail store customers. The ideal candidate will be available to work evenings and/or weekends, rotating shifts including holidays. Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers as they enter the store and assist with customer service inquiries.
2. Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them accordingly.
3. Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system, ensuring accurate cash handling at all times.
4. Maintain accurate pricing of store merchandise according to management's instructions.
5. Restock shelves with merchandise as requested by store management.
6. Handle customer returns efficiently and effectively.
Mental and Physical Requirements:
1. Excellent customer service skills required for success in this role.
2. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently throughout the workday.
3. Long periods of standing are expected in this position.
4. Frequent bending and twisting may be required depending on tasks assigned.
Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or GED preferred for this role.
