The Customer Service Associate role at Runnings is a dynamic position that requires exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering top-notch customer experiences. As a Cashier (Full-Time) in our retail store, you will be the first point of contact for customers entering and leaving the store. Your primary function will be to provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues with professionalism and poise.
Hours of operation vary with days, evenings (until 9pm), and a rotating weekend/holiday coverage required. To succeed in this role, you must be available to work evenings and/or weekends. In return, you will have the opportunity to develop your customer service skills and become an integral part of our team.
As a Customer Service Associate, you will report directly to the Store Manager and have no direct supervisory authority. Key responsibilities include greeting customers as they enter the store, assisting with customer service questions, handling incoming telephone calls, and utilizing our KCX cash register system to handle customer transactions accurately.
Other essential duties include pricing store merchandise as requested by store management, stocking shelves, and handling customer returns.
