What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Shop Technician (Full-Time) - Danville, IL position at Runnings?
The Service Shop Technician primarily is responsible for light repair and maintenance of customer's small power tools / equipment. Service Shop Technicians are responsible to provide the highest level of customer service and the highest quality of service work possible. This position may also require delivery of products using a box truck requiring the ability for a successful candidate to obtain & maintain DOT certification.
Hourly Pay Range : $17.00-19.00 (Depending on Experience)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loading and unloading equipment, machine assembly, installation of equipment, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Process orders in compliance with all requirements.
- Must be able to perform in a productive and positive manner in high stress and fast paced work environment with minimal supervision.
- Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain proper certifications that may be required.
- General machine maintenance, facility maintenance, service calls, and on-site evaluations and equipment demos.
- Willing to travel for trade shows and training opportunities.
- Must represent Runnings in a professional and positive manner.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, delivery truck, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
