Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionPosition Summary : The Senior Multimedia Specialist will focus primarily on video production, editing, and photography. This team member will also assist with graphic design needs, as well as motion graphics. This role is highly collaborative with other members of the marketing and sales teams and allows for the opportunity to capture several fun events outside of the office.Essential Responsibilities : Provide production and post-production support, including initial prototyping, full-service video production in the studio and the field, editing, color correcting, audio mixing, and motion graphics creation.Handle all photography needs including headshots, event photos, and editing.Work collaboratively with the creative services team to create graphic design assets.Must be able to work independently, handle scheduling, and provide direction to all participants.Maintain all multimedia equipment, including cameras, studio gear, audio equipment, and rental equipment. When necessary, provide recommendations for equipment upgrades.Maintain brand standards across all forms of video, animations, photos, and graphics.Manage all necessary release forms and agreements to ensure compliance.Keep the Ruoff video database up to date on Vimeo.Available to work occasional evening hours as needed for large-scale events.Physical Demands : Mostly sedentary, however, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop; talk and hear.Extensive reading and computer use is expected more than 50% of the time. Receiving and expressing detailed information verbally, in person and by telephone is essential. Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others.Occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.Regular attendance is necessary and essential to this position.Work Environment : This is a full-time position in-office, Monday-Friday.Professional atmosphere in a corporate environment.Routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers.Occasional driving of personal vehicle might be necessary and mileage reimbursement is applicable.Job Dimensions : Internal Relationships : Creative Team, Digital Marketing Team, Executive Team, Sales TeamExternal Relationships : Audio / Video vendors, software vendors, and external marketing agenciesRequirementsJob Requirements : Bachelor's degree in visual communications, video production, or related field, or at least five years of equivalent work experience.Requires a minimum of two years of professional experience with video production and editing that includes storyboarding, setup and management of lighting, audio, and camera equipment.Must have a portfolio of work that demonstrates multi-faceted abilities with videography, photography, animation, and graphic design.
