What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horticulture Procurement Specialist position at Ruppert Landscape?

Responsibilities :
- Sourcing, acquiring, and coordinating the logistics with landscape and construction materials
- Negotiate the best pricing for top quality materials and freight
- Responsible for generating purchase orders, invoice management and job costing
- Internally build and manage relationships while providing support for Project Management teams
- Sourcing and pricing new suppliers and vendors
- Prepare submittals for plant material and select hard materials when necessary
- Ensure that growers deliver high quality product
- Reconcile and approve purchase orders and invoices
- Monitor plant palette inventory and promote horticultural best practices
- Assist the monthly financial closeout
- Assist with logistics and strategic project planning
- Develop positive relationships with Landscape Architects, Brokers, and Vendors
