Description
- Work with vendors getting quotes for parts and supplies.
- Create POs for new parts/services orders.
- Issue parts out of inventory
- Responsible for keeping parts room organized. (5S)
- Set up returns for parts and machines.
- Responsible for setting inventory min and max with direction from maintenance manager
- Required to document critical spare parts in MVP.
- Required to complete parts room inventory checks monthly.
- Code invoices for Accounts payable issued to maintenance department.
- Expected basic computer skills, Excel, and windows experience and able to learn MVP maintenance system.
- Able to work safely and independently and be strong team player.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School degree, some college preferred
- 2 years' work experience parts room setting
- Database management
- MS Office proficiency, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Working knowledge of plant equipment and parts a plus
- May be required to work long hours and weekends
