Description

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives, drive a high-performance culture, and enhance employee engagement across Kilcoy Global Foods North America. This role partners with senior leadership to develop and implement people strategies that align with the company's growth, culture, and operational goals while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Lead workforce planning initiatives, ensuring the business has the right talent in place to drive growth and operational excellence.
  • Oversee and enhance talent management programs, including leadership development, succession planning, and training initiatives.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including union and non-union labor environments.
  • Lead and manage employee relations strategies, handling complex workplace issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment with business needs.
  • Partner with operations to support workforce engagement, retention strategies, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Provide HR leadership in change management efforts, supporting business transformations and culture initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in HR processes.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on HR-related matters, including organizational design and business performance impacts.

  • Change Management: Experience leading HR transformation and organizational change efforts.
  • Workforce Planning: Skilled in talent forecasting, workforce analytics, and succession planning.
  • Influence & Communication: Strong ability to partner with senior leaders, influence decisions, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Deep knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in food manufacturing, CPG, or related industries.
  • Experience leading HR in both union and non-union environments.
  • Demonstrated success in talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing HR functions in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
