Description:
The Freezer Team Member is responsible for ensuring the product is moved through one of the final stages of production by properly freezing the product before packaging.
Role and Responsibilities
- Transport carts with trays of cooked product from oven to freezer.
- Move carts with frozen product out of the freezer.
- Move carts with trays to the line, take product off trays and stage for packing.
- Ensure correct products are brought to the packing lines.
- Take temperature of product in freezer, record for QA.
- Keep inventory in freezer organized.
- Maintain daily communications with QA and Pack Off supervisors regarding inventory and quality of product.
- Meet production requirements to ensure uninterrupted operation of other departments.
- Observe and maintain company sanitation and food safety standards.
- Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
- Follow all rules / guidelines / GMP’s. (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Experience in production environment helpful. Experience working with food helpful.
- Able to count and read labels.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to work as many hour as needed and maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- ABLE TO WORK SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday, Overtime available, may be needed to work some Saturdays.
- Knowledge of GMPs, SPC, HACCP, OSHA, and USDA regulations is helpful
