About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Educational Support Professional to join our team at Rural Alaska Community Action Program. This role will support our preschool program in providing high-quality early childhood education to young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in planning and implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities for children.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including sanitation and safety standards.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including active supervision and emergency preparedness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
- Experience working with young children and families, preferably in an early childhood education setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Familiarity with child development principles and practices.
