Position Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities reflect the essential functions of the position, but do not restrict the assignment of additional or different tasks; changes to the duties and responsibilities may be made at management’s discretion. Vehicle Services
- Cleaning spills with proper equipment
- Understand and comply with OSHA requirements regarding hazardous materials
- Perform cleaning of fleet vehicles
- Use of pressure washer and chemical/ manual cleaning products
Education and Experience
Required: None
Certifications and Licenses
Required: Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record and proof of insurance.
Preferred: None
Preferred Knowledge and Competencies
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to take apart machinery or equipment to remove and replace defective parts
- Experience performing routine maintenance
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to maintain focus while working independently
Working Conditions and Schedule
This position works outside with all types of weather.
Exposure to blood and/or body fluids may occur; in case of exposure, universal precautions and protective equipment/measures will be required.
This position will be required to work at the RCT office and work outside of regular business hours will be required.
Physical and Other Requirements
- Must meet Agency requirements pertaining to substance use and related testing for employees in non-safety-sensitive positions.
- Must meet all background check requirements as mandated by funding source(s) and Agency policies.
- Must always maintain client confidentiality.
- Constantly required to speak and hear to effectively communicate verbally in person and on the phone.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly (more may be occasionally required)
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, stoop, and maintain repetitive motions needed to sufficiently carry out tasks listed above
Supervisory Responsibilities
Vehicle Cleaner has no supervisory responsibilities.
