Rural Health Group, a multi-location Community Health Center in northeastern North Carolina, is seeking a Clinical Administrative Assistant for full time position at our outpatient primary care clinics located on the "west side" of our service area. The clinics in this region include: Norlina, Hollister, Henderson and Stovall. You will have the opportunity to indicate which location(s) you are interested in on the application.
Key responsibilities will be answering the phone and document management - scanning, filing, etc. of forms and records. This position includes timely data entry in RHG and NC systems; excellent computer skills and ability to type are a must. Excellent customer service and team approach to care are also essential. Hours will generally be Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00/5:30 pm; some Saturday coverage may be required.

- High school diploma or GED
- Outpatient medical office experience preferred

- Ability to apply common sense understanding when carrying out detailed written or oral instructions

- Possess knowledge of modern office equipment and Microsoft Office software programs
- Must be able to quickly learn to use electronic health record/medical practice management system (scheduling, registration, data entry, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required; applicants who may serve in a translating capacity will be required to take a language assessment
