Rural Health Group, a multi-location Community Health Center in northeastern North Carolina, is seeking a Full Time Director of Recruitment & Marketing at our corporate office in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
Rural Health Group is a federally qualified community health center (FQHC). An FQHC is a federal designation given by the Bureau of Primary Health Care at the federal Department of Health and Human Services. FQHCs are either located in, or serve, a federally designated medically underserved area/population. All FQHCs must operate under a consumer Board of Directors governance structure, and provide comprehensive evidence-based primary health care, dental, and mental health/substance abuse services to persons in all stages of the life cycle. The Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992 and 1995 granted medical malpractice liability protection through the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) to HRSA-supported health centers. Rural Health Group is an FTCA Deemed Agency. RHG consists of 17 medical locations, 3 dental locations, and 4 in-house pharmacies. Our service area covers 5 counties in northeastern NC (Halifax, Northampton, Edgecombe, Warren, and Vance).
In addition to medical/dental/behavioral health providers, RHG employs certified medical assistants, nursing staff, front office staff, billing staff, quality improvement staff, dental suport staff, dental hygienists, call center staff and more. RHG is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and results-oriented Director of Recruitment & Marketing to lead all aspects of talent acquisition. They will work to establish an agile vision, strategy and roadmap for how the company identifies, engages, recruits and onboards all positions within the organization. The Director of Recruitment & Marketing will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and evolving recruiting strategies in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will operate comfortably developing strategy and driving excellent execution by living in the details, all while coaching and enabling a lean recruitment team. This person will have experience in marketing and will work with leadership to plan, utilize, and develop recruitment activities and recruitment related marketing materials that are accurate, timely, ethical, appropriate and professional. The Director of Recruitment & Marketing will participate in hiring events and proactively market the organization and cultivate relationships with local community colleges and universities to recruit the best candidates to fill open roles at Rural Health Group.

- Proactively recruit healthcare professionals through various sources, including internet resources, company databases, company-provided leads, referrals, and social media
- Lead all aspects of the recruiting process to meet organizational needs, in collaboration with other departments
- Develops, builds, and maintains candidate relationships through effective sourcing and selection techniques
- Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel
- Work with management to assess, refine and evolve all facets of the recruiting process, from employer branding to sourcing to assessing to onboarding, in order to enable RHG to acquire the best candidates
- Develop strategic recruiting plans, utilizing creative and cost-effective methods
- Create engaging recruitment marketing, from job descriptions and live events to campaigns that drive candidates to the company
- Implement marketing tactics for the organization to include website content, social media, email, events, videos, collateral materials, etc.
- Coordinate recruitment advertising, to include creating and posting job openings and the use of web-based recruiting tools
- Works in partnership with Chief Human Resources Officer to develop and implement internal communications strategy for facilities
- Other projects as assigned by CHRO, CMO and/or CEO
- 5 years of experience in full cycle recruiting
- Health care experience in marketing is required (strategic planning, public relations, research, sales, communication, and interactive (internet/web) strategy is necessary and required to understand and direct efforts)
- Demonstrated leadership, management, and communications skills
- Ability to implement robust processes to ensure better planning, alignment and management of resources and decisions.
- Ability to analyze market research data
- Understanding of recruitment strategies and operations, coupled with a desire and capability to roll up sleeves, dig in and solve problems
- Demonstrated success building and optimizing systematic recruitment functions through effective use of technology and metrics to drive insight generation.
- Experience coaching team members on both individual and team effectiveness in support of overarching strategic objectives and their growth and development.
- Experience developing and handling a department budget
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
