Rural Health, Inc. is looking for a compassionate, personable individual with strong communication skills to join our team of Patient Services Representatives. Responsibilities include performing administrative tasks, responding to internal and patient inquiries, and handling all aspects of patient services. The Patient service Representative must be able to work two late night clinics a month and up to 6 Saturdays a year to fulfill our mission of serving our patients and community.
Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally greet patients
- Answer incoming calls and take messages.
- Schedule patients for appointments by phone or in person.
- Collect fees for services rendered.
- Answers questions related to patient services.
- Enter and update data into the computer regarding appointments, registrations, and requests for information.
- Be able to work in a team atmosphere.
A High school diploma/GED is required. Associate’s degree in business-related field is preferred. Medical/Dental office experience, background in electronic medical records and strong organizational and computer skills are preferred.
