Rural King Firearms Sales Associate
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and skilled Firearms Sales Associate to join our team at Rural King. As a key member of our store's sales team, you will provide exceptional customer service and expertise in firearms and related accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide informed recommendations on firearm models and industry news
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing firearms display area
- Stay updated on current firearm trends and ensure accurate product labeling and pricing
- Process special orders, operate the POS register, and resolve return issues as needed
- Contribute to visual merchandising efforts, ensuring proper signage and maintaining a clean and safe sales floor
- Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments and responsibilities
Requirements:
- Addition education or training in firearms safety is a plus
- Previous experience in firearms sales or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding firearms sales and transfers
- Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards
- Proficiency in using computer systems for transaction processing and record-keeping
