Talent Acquisition Specialist
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in the success of our talent strategy by leading initiatives across sourcing, full-cycle recruiting, interviewing, hiring, engagement, and retention. This role goes beyond filling open positions—it is about shaping the future workforce of our organization through strategic talent attraction and pipeline development efforts that align with our long-term business goals.
In this role, you will focus on both immediate hiring needs and forward-looking workforce planning. You will help drive applicant flow, strengthen our employer brand, and execute innovative programs that build sustainable, high-quality candidate pipelines. Your efforts will directly support our mission to attract and retain top talent while enhancing the candidate and associate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit across multiple associate categories with a proactive, strategic mindset.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify both current and future staffing needs and craft targeted recruitment strategies.
- Develop and lead long-range talent attraction and pipeline-building initiatives, including workforce planning, internship development, and diversity outreach programs.
- Design and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract high-performing, active, and passive talent aligned with company values and culture.
- Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle including screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.
- Ensure a strong candidate experience through effective communication, timely follow-ups, and consistent feedback loops with hiring managers.
- Champion strategic projects aimed at strengthening Rural King's employer brand through social campaigns, community partnerships, and storytelling.
- Collaborate with Marketing and HR to align messaging across job postings, recruitment materials, and digital platforms.
- Provide market insights and data-driven recommendations on recruiting trends, talent availability, and competitive benchmarks.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and adjust as needed.
- Actively maintain relationships with schools, universities, and professional networks to build future talent pipelines and represent Rural King at events, career fairs, and speaking engagements.
- Contribute to companywide engagement and retention initiatives by participating in programs that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Take initiative in solving challenges, bringing forward innovative solutions, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions, using discretion and sound judgment.
- Participate in learning opportunities and training programs to stay ahead of recruitment best practices.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional support to internal teams and external candidates.

Salary : $55,000 - $80,000
